DESCRIPTION:As an annual event in the harbor\, the Charity Regatta's mission is to bring together the business\, civic and social leaders of our community with its boating members in order to raise money to benefit our community in South Orange County. This prestigious event promises once again\, to be the sailing and social event of the year. Since its inception\, the Richard Henry Dana Charity Regatta  has raised over $750\,000 dollars for local charities through corporate donations\, sponsorships and individual contributions.\n\n\n\nDana Point Yacht Club's annual Richard Henry Dana Charity Regatta has a rich and proud history of contributing to several of South Orange County's charitable organizations. This year's recipient is special because of the transformational impact the organization has on underprivileged youth.\n\n\n\nWe are pleased to announce that the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley will be this year's\n\nbeneficiary.\n\n\n\nFor more information\, visit dpyc.org
