DESCRIPTION:Walk4ALZ is Orange County's largest fundraising event for Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.  Every year\, over 12\,000 people participate in our Walks.  Thanks to the incredible support and participation of our community\, our events have grown more successful year after year.\n\nOver 84\,000 people in Orange County are affected by Alzheimer's or another form of dementia.  There is currently no way to prevent\, treat or cure Alzheimer's\, and it is a disease that not only affects the diagnosed individual\, but one that also takes a heavy toll on those who love and care for them.  The Alzheimer's Orange County team is committed to serving families as they face this difficult journey\, while helping to advance local research for a cure.
