Aventura Sailing Association is a super friendly, members-only sailing club looking for a team player for our restaurant. 

Job Title: Food Prep / Dishwasher 
Compensation: $18 per hour + tips
Employment Type: Part-Time
Hours: Thursday, Friday & Saturdays from 3 - 9 PM. Extra shifts available for private events.

Responsibilities: 

• Working under the leadership of our head chef to help prepare for dinner service 
• Setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies
• Cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing fresh ingredients and sauces 
• Cooking food items to specified recipes and standards 
• Maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage 
• Cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces at the end of the shift 
• Closing the kitchen with rest of staff by following the list of responsibilities
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils.
• Remove trash bins regularly
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor

• Work experience as a Dishwasher or Prep Cook
• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed
• Time management skills
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules
