About Us
Dana Point Women's Club (DPWC) is proud to have been an accomplished non-profit, philanthropic organization in South Orange County since 1951. Its members are women of all ages and diversities, uniting to have fun in philanthropy. They generously give their time, talents and financial resources to support our many local philanthropic projects.
Community House is a charming event venue located in the heart of Dana Point's vibrant Lantern District that has served as DPWC's clubhouse for over seven decades. The approximately 2,500 square foot venue is also available for meetings, corporate event parties, small weddings and celebrations of all kinds. Rental rates include the use of round and rectangular tables that can seat up to 144, plus 100 Chiavari chairs. Special rates are offered to non-profit organizations. The venue includes a catering kitchen, restrooms, quiet outdoor garden area and 30 dedicated parking spots plus public street parking nearby. Linens are not included. Events have a 10pm outdoor sound curfew.

Net proceeds from Community House rentals are used exclusively for building maintenance and preservation and support of DPWC's local philanthropies which include SparkPoint OC, Project Literacy, Project Scholarship, Project Angel Tree, Project Foster, Handbags for Hearts, Project FAM, Project Military among others.
