Dear Dana Point Lantern District Car Show entrant:
Please find enclosed a map and details for the show on Sunday, October 23. All cars on Del Prado will be backed in at an angle. Volunteers from BlueChip Motors and the VFW will assist with parking and loading in. All entrants may sit behind their cars on the sidewalk in front of the storefronts. Del Prado will remain closed to traffic during the show. Chairs and shade are welcome but we ask that you be mindful of the storefront and refrain from blocking public access on the sidewalks.
REGISTRATION: (BLUE STAR ON MAP)
Take Golden Lantern to San Juan to access the registration area. You will not be given entry access unless your windshield judging card is visible on the driver side of your dash. Pick up your windshield judging card at Violet Lantern and the alley, 34192 Violet Lantern, Dana Point, CA 92629
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN AT 8:30 AM
PARKING:
Pre-event parking areas are indicated in GREEN. Use these GREEN areas for waiting until entry gates open, and to meet up with fellow club members or friends. To be placed next to someone in the show, you must enter the show in line together.
TWO ENTRY POINTS:
In an effort to shorten your wait time before entering the show area, we have two separate show vehicle entry points. Once you have your window registration card, proceed to the entry of your choice (with your entire group). Cars will be directed to the center of the show. The center of the show will be closed to through traffic. Priority sponsors will be parked prior to 10:45 am.
ENTRY POINTS WILL NOT BE OPEN UNTIL 11:00 AM
ENTRY NO.1
Load in from DEL PRADO only (not Amber Lantern). At 11:00 am both sides of DEL PRADO will open up to southbound car show traffic.
ENTRY NO. 2
There will be no entry directly off of Del Prado. You must make a left on Old Golden Lantern and turn around at the end of the street (there is space to turn around). Load in from OLD GOLDEN LANTERN only.
WHEN ENTRY NO. 2 FILLS UP – Follow the purple arrows to Entry No.1.
CARS WITH TRAILERS
If your car is being transported via trailer, arrange to enter at Violet Lantern and Del Prado before 10:00 am. There will be an additional charge for VIP parking. Trailers will be parked on Old Golden Lantern once all cars have entered the show. If you have a trailer, please notify the Chamber ASAP at 949-496-1555 to arrange for adequate parking.

WINDSHIELD JUDGING CARD
Everyone will receive a windshield judging card. Be sure to have your judging card visible to be judged. If you are chosen for an award, a Dana Point Blue Ribbon will be placed in your car. If you have a blue ribbon in your car, please report to the front of the stage at 3:30 pm.
PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD
Go to the Chamber of Commerce booth to vote for your favorite car of the day!
NEXT YEAR’S T-SHIRT VOTE
You will receive two tokens in your registration packet. Take these tokens to the Dana Hills High School booth in the Post Office parking lot to vote.

This booth will be located on Violet Lantern and Del Prado. If you have any questions while you are at the show, please visit our booth and we will assist you. If you have questions before the show, contact the Chamber at 949-496-1555.
