Come join us for the first annual Hobie Alter Memorial 3-Club Barefoot Golf Tournament onMonday, May 22nd at The Ranch at Laguna Beach. Proceeds will go toward The Hobie Memorial to be constructed in the new sculpture park at the southern entrance to Pacific Coast Hwy, our fabled Highway 1.
The centerpiece of this tribute to Dana Point’s surf legends will be a full-size bronze sculpture of Hobie Alter piloting his original Hobie 14, the boat that revolutionized sailing, just as Hobie’s boards and surf team defined the pinnacle of surfing.
In celebration of the Memorial’s development, we invite you to join us for a Barefoot, 3 club Golf Tournament at Hobie’s home course, Ben Brown’s in Laguna Beach on Monday, May 22nd. Please consider sponsoring a hole or making a contribution to the Hobie Memorial Foundation as an opportunity to be an integral part of making this permanent tribute a reality and honoring the man that shaped our lifestyle.
