The Laguna Beach Garden Club will feature nine private gardens in Laguna?s charming Village neighborhood -- including nearly an acre of magnificent grounds at an historic home -- on its "Gate & Garden Tour," May 6, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. The self-guided walking tour is the club's major fundraiser, with proceeds going to scholarships, school gardens and community projects. The tour will include free refreshments, homemade cookies, exhibits, keepsake brochure and shuttle bus service. Plein air painters will set up easels in gardens and along the tour route. There will also be a plant sale and raffle of prizes donated by local artists and businesses, such as Dana Point Nursery and Tides Inn, Laguna. $45 advance tickets are available at LagunaBeachGardenClub.org and at Dana Point Nursery, Laguna Nursery, Laguna Beach Books, Laguna Drug, and Tides Inn, Laguna.
