Join Stand Up To Trash for a fun-filled morning giving back to our local environment at the San Juan Creek Cleanup!
Help create a ripple effect in our community by removing litter from the San Juan Creek watershed and helping protect our beaches, waterways, and wildlife. Volunteers are encouraged to follow the simple rule: “Don’t pass it up, pick it up!”
Participants can weigh in their cleanup finds for a chance to win in one of three categories:
• The Biggest Catch
• The Smallest Catch (think microplastics!)
• The Most Unusual
Prizes have been donated by Killer Dana Surf Shop, Captain Dave’s Whale Watching, Dana Wharf, Shaka Love, and Custodians of the Sea. Winners and prizes will be announced the following day.
Stand Up To Trash encourages participants to BYOB: Bring Your Own Bucket! Help reduce additional waste by bringing a reusable bucket or bag, gloves, reusable water bottle, and coffee cup.
Come ready to have fun, make a difference, and learn more about our local watersheds!
