The Ocean Institute is excited to announce our upcoming Sea Safety Summit: Save a Life with OI and RIFFE. Our evening event will take place on August 18, from 5:30pm- 8:00pm. There will be local vendor booths from West Wind Sailing, CA Lifeguards, Riffe, Lost Winds Dive Shop, and more! We will also have a bar with beer, wine and light snacks available for purchase. Learn how to mitigate and handle a critical event with hands on training. Speakers include Christy Culp, Head Trauma Nurse at Mission Hospital, and Austin Derry, a spearfishing/fishing guide Captain based out of San Diego. We want to encourage everyone to learn these lifesaving skills here with professionals!
