Surfrider Foundation Chapter Meeting
Surfrider Foundation South Orange County invites you to their Chapter Meeting on Tuesday, August 29.
The featured speaker, Dina Gilio-Whitaker, is a renown environmental justice advocate, educator and consultant. She will discuss her latest book "As Long as Grass Grows: The Indigenous Fight for Environmental Justice From Colonization to Standing Rock."
She will also highlight examples of the Save the Trestles Campaign and collaboration between Surfrider and current marine protective areas efforts relative to tribes.
