Join the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Ocean Institute on Saturday, July 25, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for a free, family-friendly boating safety event at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point Harbor.

Tour the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter NARWHAL, meet the ship's officers and crew, visit the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary booth to learn about boating safety and volunteer opportunities, and explore the Ocean Institute's educational programs. Kids can meet "Coastie," the interactive talking ship, while visitors of all ages can enjoy boating safety demonstrations, free vessel safety exams, and information on boater education classes, the California Boater Card, paddlecraft requirements, marine safety, personal flotation devices, marine radios, distress flares, and more.

Please note that all adults must present a valid government-issued photo ID to board the vessel.
