Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist/ Member Services
Dana Point Yacht Club is a private Yacht club seeking a Full-Time Front-Office Receptionist. Qualified applicants will be self-motivated, efficient, and able to multitask. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for assisting others are essential. Organizational skills and being a team player with a professional attitude and work ethic are necessary.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for the front desk duties in addition to carrying out general administrative tasks. Presents a friendly and professional atmosphere for all members and guests.
- Greets all members and guests.
- Answers and directs phone calls.
- Maintains members-only restaurant reservation log up to date.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the front desk and main entrance.
- Maintains guest slip records accurately.
- General typing and filing.
- Monitors e-mail and phone messages.
- Candidates must have at least 1 year of prior front desk receptionist/customer service experience in a similar environment. Exceptional communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are essential as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge
Clerical- Knowledge of administrate and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
Events, Banquets, Club membership, and Graphic Design knowledge are a plus, but not required.
Communication
Requires telephone conversations, use of electronic mail.
Must be bilingual (Spanish)
Job Type: Full Time
Must be able to work Wed-Sun 11 AM to 7 PM
Weekend & Some holiday availability may be needed.
