Schedule: Monday - Thursday, primarily 3:30 PM - 9:30 PM* All 4 Days Required, Friday afternoons and Sat/Sun (on occasion) All based on scheduled sessions. Varies.

Established in 2013, Under Pressure Homework Help supports over 150 students weekly, from PK to college, with over 300 hours of assistance.
Beyond Tutoring:
Our Math and Science Tutors guide students beyond textbook concepts, instilling confidence, and promoting critical thinking skills in mathematical and scientific domains. They actively engage students in understanding complex theories and applications, acting as dedicated mentors providing comprehensive support beyond academics. This includes managing students' educational responsibilities, ensuring timely assignments, fostering effective communication, and promoting student autonomy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students of all levels in mathematics (through Calculus) and most science subjects (Bio, Chem, Physics) at our Dana Point studio.
- Foster a conducive learning environment through nurturing relationships with students.
- Ensure task completion and sustained academic progress as an academic manager.
- Customize teaching methods for diverse learning styles, promoting comprehension and engagement.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to prioritize collective student success.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on student progress.
Qualifications:
- Experience in tutoring mathematics and science subjects at all levels. *all levels in mathematics (through Calculus) and most science subjects (Bio, Chem, Physics)
- Passion for education and empowering students.
- Must work Monday to Thursday after-school hours (3:30 PM - 9:30 PM).
- Proficiency in computers, navigating various school platforms, Zoom, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant websites.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of providing immediate assistance to students at the studio.

Job Type: Part-time (Must work M-Th 3:30 - 9:30) Position will start now, then slow during June/July and then back to busy hours beginning with school year in August)
Salary: From $22.00 per hour - $30.00 per hour (teaching credential)

Experience: All levels of Math and science required. 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience are necessary
