4 Year Anniversary Yoga, Beach Cleanup, and Lunch & Learn
Join Dana Point Harbor for the four-year anniversary of the Stand Up To Trash beach cleanup and lunch & learn.

What would happen if everyone picked up at least one piece of trash?
Join us for a day of fun on the water, beach, and surrounding areas to cleanup our natural world.
On August 11...
- Get into the groove with free yoga at Baby Beach from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.
- From 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. participate in a beach cleanup!
- At 10:30, enjoy a free lunch & learn at the Ocean Institute. The theme is the 4-year anniversary, focusing on the impact created during this time.
There are two places to register and check in/weigh in: Baby Beach and Ocean Institute!
Baby Beach
Bags and gloves will be provided, reusable gloves encouraged!
Arrive early (9 a.m.) to use a (single or double) kayak or stand up paddle board for an “on the water” cleanup provided by Westwind Sailing! (Max. 4 pieces of equipment per party).
Ocean Institute
Bags, buckets and grabbers will be provided, reusable gloves encouraged!
Weigh in your collected trash at any spot for a chance to win in one of four categories:
- The Biggest Catch
- The Smallest Catch (think microplastics)
- The Most Unusual
- The Most Items (from Debris Tracker App, tracking for Stand Up To Trash)
Prizes have been donated by Killer Dana Surf Shop, Captain Dave’s Whale Watching, Dana Wharf, Shaka Love, and Custodians of The Sea.
