About Us

Darryl is a retired Aerospace Quality Engineer and a graduate of the Pilot Institute where he acquired his FAA Part 107 Certification. He and his wife Sally were born and raised in Southern California and have recently settled in San Juan Capistrano. Darryl has been flying DJI drones since 2017 and specializes in simple aerial photography and videography.

Typical missions include:
Aerial photography for real estate, film and journalism along with corporate and family events. Additionally, he can be found flying missions in support of action sports and boating.

Darryl is available for community volunteer search and rescue operations, educational drone operations and training, The Drone Guy also offers basic video editing utilizing Microsoft and Adobe Premiere Pro. His website will be launching soon.
